E.W. Grove concocted magical elixirs and today, The Grove Park Inn continues his tradition by crafting our very own signature line of fine wines. We consider them to be quite magical too. Please don't take our word for it, try these wines for yourself.

2007 Grove Park Inn Sauvignon Blanc,  2008 Grove Park Inn Chardonnay,  2008 Grove Park Inn Merlot  and a 2008 Grove Park Inn Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Notes:
Sauvignon Blanc, Sonoma County, 2007
Our Sauvignon Blanc has high acidity offering notes of tropical fruit, lemon, melon in a round lush body.  It has a slight hint of white pepper and a long finish.  It will be perfect served with seafood, shellfish, poultry, salads and acidic cheeses.


Chardonnay, Sonoma County, 2008
Our Chardonnay has wonderful tropical notes (pineapple, stone fruit and pear) along green apple and crisp acidity followed by hints of white spice.  The wine has an charming finish that lingers with just a touch of honeyed fruit.  This is a perfect wine to offer with lobster and seafood, such as mahi-mahi and salmon or with country style foods abundant here it the South.

Merlot, Sonoma County, 2008
Our Merlot is alluring and very approachable with supple dark fruit and cherry backed with integrated tannins.  It is very balanced presenting notes of clove and cinnamon with a velvety finish.  This wine will be beautiful with steak, duck and other game fowl.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma County, 2008
Our Cabernet Sauvignon displays dark berried fruit wrapped in a firm tannic backbone.  It is structured yet smooth with a purity of fruit and hints of spice.  The wine is seamless through the finish.  Perfect unaccompanied, but it will also pair wonderfully with steak, game and lamb.
