What is the proper dress code?
The following apparel is appropriate:
 
Men: A collared shirt (polo or mock neck). Bermuda length shorts or slacks are acceptable.  Denim is strictly prohibited.
 
Women: Sleeveless shirts are permitted (but must have a collar). In addition, appropriate length shorts and skirts are acceptable (no more than 2" above the knee.)  Denim, gym clothing, cut-offs, and tank tops are strictly prohibited
 
Proper soft spike golf shoes, golf sandals, or running shoes are acceptable.
Is the course located at the resort?
Yes.
Can guests walk the course for leisure?

No. However, if invited, a guest is welcome to walk along with a group of players. All players are allowed to walk the course while playing at any time.

How do I reach the course?

The course is located a short walk from the Inn. A hotel shuttle service also runs to and from the course. There is no charge for this service.

Does the resort have a driving range?

There is no driving range. A practice putting green is available during golf-course hours.

Are rental clubs available?

Ping rental equipment is available, including sets for men, ladies and juniors, as well as left- and right-handed clubs.

Does the club offer 9-hole golf rates?

Yes, we offer rates for both 9 and 18 holes of play. There are also special rates for replay, juniors, twilight and the winter season.

Is food and beverage available to players at the golf course?

Next to the course you’ll find our Cabana Grille, an inviting outdoor grill that serves snacks, sandwiches, hamburgers and lighter fare along with soft drinks and beer. The Cabana is open from late May to early September. An on-course cart that offers sandwiches, snacks and beverages is also open from April to November.

Is golf instruction available at the club?

Led by the resort’s certified PGA professionals, our private lessons provide great opportunities for guests to improve their game. Topics range from lessons for beginners to short-game instruction and on-course playing lessons. To learn more or to schedule a lesson, contact the Golf Shop at 828-252-2711, ext. 1012.

Does the club have a membership program?
